The Mir Station was a Soviet Union Space Station. The first piece of the Mir Space Station was launched in 1986. It was made by the combining the Mir Core Module, Kvant 1, Kvant 2, Kristall, Spektr, and the Priroda. The Mir Space Station was built after the Salyut Space Station. Many experiments have been conducted aboard the Mir Space Station.
